The NYPD identified Daniil Shevchenko, 21, as the man seen on video footage lounging against a medical freezer in a Sunset Park deli — moments before a pack of cops burst in to give him a pummeling.
The fracas occurred Sept. 11 around 11 p.m., and was captured on the bodega’s surveillance system.
The presence of cameras apparently didn’t faze the cops — or the angry medic who stormed in with them. As soon as the two police officers grabbed Shevchenko to cuff him, the uniformed medic wrapped an arm around his neck in a loose attempt at a chokehold, the video shows.
