Thanks for everybody’s support on EMEDA throughout year 2016, and and we wish you a Merry Christmas! On this festive occasion, we will tell you what we’ve been doing and achieved during year 2016.
With regard to factory, we have optimized our raw-material purchasing channels, by implementing stricter quality control measures from the upper section of the industrial chain and by increasing our material inventory. Now we have 200kg Semi-finished products stock to ensure our product quality, order quantity and on-time delivery. With regard to production, we made innovative improvement on the production technology and process of Eyelashes Extensions, which really surprised our customers by our product quality! From January 1, 2016 to November 30, 2016, our sales volume reached over 10 million US dollars, of which, up to 60%, as always, is contributed by Qingdao, Yiwu and Guangzhou trading companies. Moreover, most of our product export is through these companies’ indirect exports, while our direct export accounts for 12% of the total, up 8% from year 2015, which is expected to reach at least 30% in year 2017.
With regard to direct exports, we have established a more comprehensive quality inspection and after-sales service system, and our export sales team now has 13 people to ensure both quality product and good service. They are striving to help each customer to do their business well. In 2016, we also went to Japan and Hong Kong to attend the industry exhibition, not only for showing our products, but also for exchange of knowledge and experience with other excellent Eyelashes factories and top multinational buyers. From January 1, 2016 to November 30, 2016, the direct exports of our trade department had reached more than 2 million US dollars.
We are keen on public benefit events, and caring for those vulnerable groups is our common responsibility. In 2016, at Qingdao "Tongxing Special Education ", we made donations for those mentally retarded children there. As always, environmental protection is what we focus on, and we appeal to more people to care about the Earth by protecting our environment. For the this, we work with public interest groups“Pachamama Alliance” to host public lecture for protecting our earth.
We actively involved in business cycles construction, in a bid to build an exchange platform for Qingdao local international trade companies. In 2016, EMEDA were elected as the chairman unit of Qingdao Network Chamber of Commerce, which further enhanced EMEDA influence in the both Qingdao foreign trade circles and Qingdao eyelashes industry.
Over the past three years, the number of newly established eyelashes companies has been on the rise due to the favorable national policies. And also, as communication becomes faster and more convenient, overseas small and medium-sized buyers are able to find Chinese eyelashes suppliers through Google search engine, thus realized cross-border purchase. And purchasing pattern change also further reduced procurement costs, with quality control problems inevitably followed and led to more customer loss and higher time costs. Faced with such situation, we conducted a market survey, which turned out that in 2016, the global eyelashes buyers began to return to rationality, with many people no longer believed low cost. As a result, Chinese eyelashes suppliers began a new round of brutal reshuffle, and each month you can see some Chinese eyelashes factories going into bankruptcy. Unlike in the past three years, many buyers are no longer stick to the lowest price, but rather attach great importance to corporate integrity and product quality, and they also care more about a longer and sustainable cooperation, which is exactly what we insist on. Throughout the past 10 years, we’ve been making every effort to meet customer demands with a grateful heart.
